I completed my Bachelor's degree in Ecological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Edinburgh, where I developed a strong interest in the interactions between organisms and their surrounding environment. My research interests centre on fish community dynamics in coral reef ecosystems, particularly the use of field-based approaches such as underwater visual census to investigate patterns in fish distribution and abundance. The hands-on experience has led me to explore how habitat structure and environmental conditions shape reef communities and influence the broader functioning and productivity of coral reef ecosystems.
